šŸƒ Yoga isn't about feeling good every moment of our day, It's about feeling what's true. Sometimes that truth is joy, sometimes it is anxiety, elation or grief, and sometimes it is the silence between. The practice is learning not to turn away. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨Hey Beautiful! It is an honor and a joy to practice with you! My name is Sasha, and I'm the pathway to healing the mind, nourishing the body, and renewing the soul. As someone who has walked through darkness, and found the light again, my passion is to create nurturing, safe spaces filled with compassion, healing energy, and a release of everything heavy we are carrying, to find peace and freedom within our souls. We arrive on our mats to shed the layers that daily life can accumulate, to find a lightness, a return back home to our purest selves! My background is in 20+ years of dance, while earning a degree in biology + anthropology, and a deep knowledge of anatomy and cultural studies. My primary focus of every class is to allow space and time to slow down the mind, quiet our rapidly-paced lives, take great care of our mental health, and to soothe the nervous system, through a trauma-informed lens. My greatest lessons are shared through my own lived daily experience in nervous system regulation, and in nature therapy. In my classes, you’ll find healing through extended pranayama, somatic tension release, sharing specific tools to stimulate our vagus nerve, to reconnect to the body, and release our tight grip in the mind to all the things we feel we must accomplish. You'll find fluidity in movement, a focus on alignment, a return to our natural world, a connection to all flora + fauna, muscle lengthening, pain relief, and impactful messages, lessons, and storytelling.   • Warm Somatic Sundays

    Join me on Sundays at 10am for a warm, spicy flow! Classes are beautifully themed around nature, different parts of the world, chakra healing, and so much more! The focus of these classes is pranayama, quieting the mind, fluid vinyasa, alignment, opening the body, strength, relief of pain & stiffness, somatic tension release tools to take with you into daily life to help with stressors, triggers, and nervous system dysregulation. I teach through a trauma healing lens, always inclusive, always for your healing journey. šŸ¤Ž

  • Gentle Somatic Flow

    Come practice with me every Friday at 11:30 am for a delicious, non-heated slow flow, thru a trauma-healing lens, designed to promote stillness in the mind, presence in the body, somatic tension release, and permission to slow down during our busy week! This class is perfect for post-injuries, pregnancy, and everyone yearning to slow down in their life. Experience just how powerful the breath, stillness, movement, and nervous system regulation can be! Healing awaits for your mind+ body+ soul!

  • Hot Wall Yoga

    ā˜€ļøšŸŖ·

    Join me for an awakening hot wall yoga flow, where we find shapes against the wall, our biggest prop, to help find alignment, support & strength. This class is slower, as we find our shapes against the wall to help us with our proprioception, our body awareness in space. The asanas we create here, help us in our vinyasa classes. Our mind will quiet as we heighten our awareness within our body, as it finds connection with our wall space. Blocks, straps will accompany us as we move, giving us beautiful support, and a grounded, supported experience.

  • Yin Yoga Flow

    Join me for delicious, non-heated yin yoga, holding poses for longer periods, designed to open the fascia, or connective tissue, relieve tightness, promoting muscle lengthening, joint healing, and pain relief throughout the body. We will find stillness & presence in the body, thru a trauma-healing lens, somatic tension release, and permission to slow down during our busy week!
